True wide angle Budget S. Eichelberger I ordered this purpose as temporary until they saved enough money to buy a real lens, not a attatcment. Upon opening the package I realized that did not fit the lens of my D3000 kit. There is a ring adapter in the package is required to fit the lenses of 18-55 mm. The lens itself works fine, but when you use a lighter shade in my photos because the flash is not powerful enough. I recommend buying a slave or a Nikon flash SB400 before buying this product.
