Lenses cheap, practical conversion ... I love it. By Neal R Boyd As mentioned before, this is not a goal, a conversion lens. I bought this for use in the kit 18-55mm on my Canon Rebel XT. The kit lens of the camera is pretty decent, but not worth buying a conversion lens ridiculously priced ... Not to mention, buy a good Canon fisheye is out of my budget at this time. With all that said, I bought the Opteka because he wanted the semi fisheye effect for some experimental photography and skateboarding, and I am too broke to buy a holiday high-end, dedicated fisheye lens. The conversion lens impressed me a lot.
